Job summary

Stratasys Ltd is seeking a Manufacturing Systems Developer to advance MES/MCS applications and integrate them across global manufacturing operations. You will design, implement, and support systems for improved traceability, data collection, and production efficiency.

The role requires hands-on knowledge of manufacturing connectivity, industrial protocols, and collaboration with Engineering, Production, Quality, and IT teams. A strong software background in C++ and APIs is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience supporting or developing Manufacturing Execution Systems, Industrial Control Systems, manufacturing applications, or related software solutions.
• Experience in manufacturing environments, including production workflows, equipment connectivity, and shop-floor data collection.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases, including data queries, troubleshooting, and manufacturing data analysis.
• Experience developing software in C++ or comparable languages used to support manufacturing operations.
• Experience integrating systems using APIs, web services, and enterprise platforms such as MES, ERP, PLM, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, test, and support MES/MCS applications, workflows, forms, dashboards, and system enhancements.
• Build and maintain electronic work instructions, production data collection points, traceability functions, and user-facing tools.
• Develop and maintain integrations between MES, ERP, PLM, manufacturing equipment, production assets, databases, and automation systems.
• Support machine connectivity and real-time data acquisition through industrial standards and interfaces such as OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus, Ethernet/IP, REST APIs.
• Create and maintain custom applications, services, APIs, database objects, and reporting capabilities.
• Troubleshoot MES-related incidents, investigate root causes, resolve production-impacting issues, and support system stability.
• Support Industry 4.0, Smart Factory, and manufacturing digitalization initiatives.
