Job summary

Elsevier is seeking a Digital Content Specialist to support the Digital Content Manager in developing and deploying market-critical learning content across Sherpath courseware and related products. You will manage digital projects from inception through production, acting as the main contact for SMEs, IDs, and vendors throughout the development lifecycle.

The role requires a BA/BS in English or related field, 2+ years in digital content development, and experience with media.

Qualifications

• Have a B.A./B.S. in English or related area.
• Two or more years’ experience with digital content development.
• Demonstrate experience with media (online courses, multimedia, etc.).
• Be a self-starter with strong organizational, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
• Possess a flexible and creative approach to problem solving with attention to detail.
• Be able to work independently.
• Manage SMEs and interact professionally with SMEs and colleagues.
• Demonstrate ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Plans digital content development and delivery cadence.
• Lead stand-up meetings with content development partners.
• Ensure SMEs deliver work per schedule.
• Identify issues with SMEs and mitigate risks.
• Consolidate SME reviews and coordinate with vendors for quality delivery.
• Suggest improvements to writing, assessment, and instructional design guidelines.
• Review outlines, assessments, and content storyboards for detailed feedback.
• Coordinate with participants and drive permission and art research as needed.
• Coordinate mapping tasks with internal/external resources.
• Oversee build content delivery and UAT fixes to ensure on-time delivery.
