Job summary

Kdmpop is seeking a Digital Lead 2nd Shift in Cincinnati, OH to oversee all Digital Department operations for the 2nd shift. You will manage pre-press approvals, digital printing, color management and workflow coordination while maintaining production schedules and customer expectations.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong printing expertise capable of motivating teams in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent; specialized training or an Associate Degree is preferred.
• 3-5 years of printing industry experience.
• Digital inkjet printing experience strongly preferred; other printing exposure acceptable.
• Strong color management and color correction abilities.
• Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for production equipment and digital files.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving in production.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Able to work 2nd Shift hours - 2:30 pm to 11 pm.

Digital Lead 2nd Shift is responsible for leading and overseeing all Digital Department operations during second shift, ensuring the highest standards of print quality, productivity, safety, and team performance. This role manages pre-press approvals, digital printing operations, color management, workflow coordination, and employee development while maintaining production schedules and customer expectations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong printing expertise, exceptional color management skills, and the ability to motivate teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

LOCATION:

This is a full-time, in-office position based in Cincinnati, Ohio area

COMPENSATION:

Starting at $26.00 per hour based on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated expertise.

STAY BONUS:

General Operators & Maintenance Technicians Total Bonus of $1500

Specialized Operators Total Bonus $2500

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

• High School Diploma or GED; specialized training or an Associate Degree is preferred.
• 3-5 years of printing industry experience.
• Digital inkjet printing experience strongly preferred; a combination of digital, offset, and screen printing experience will be considered.
• Strong color management and color correction abilities.
• Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign.
• Strong troubleshooting skills related to both production equipment and digital files.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to identify and resolve production challenges.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Able to work 2nd Shift hours - 2:30 pm to 11 pm

Preferred

• 5-7+ years of progressive experience in a digital print, manufacturing, or production environment.
• Previous supervisory, lead, or shift management experience.
• Experience managing production schedules and prioritizing workloads in a deadline-driven environment.
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance practices and equipment optimization.
• Forklift operation experience and familiarity with large-format digital printing equipment.
