Job summary

Gerdau is seeking a Finance and Procurement Value Stream Leader to guide the Digital IT strategy at the Tampa site. The role focuses on aligning IT investments with business goals, leading SAP and cloud initiatives, and driving a global IT transformation across manufacturing processes.

You will manage a team and external partners, develop roadmaps, and ensure cost efficiency and high system performance while enabling business agility and competitive advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5 years of programming, systems analysis or implementation experience
• 2 years of experience managing or leading teams
• Experience with full-cycle SAP implementations preferred
• Knowledge of IT processes, IT functions (development, infrastructure, security, governance), and technology (cloud, big data, architecture, APIs)

Responsibilities

• Use Digital IT expertise to enhance business performance and enable its digital transformation strategy.
• Lead IT within assigned business processes for strategy development, solution discovery, project implementation, and IT support operations.
• Oversee demand management and manage approved Digital IT initiatives and project KPIs.
• Deliver reliable, high-performance IT solutions and identify cost/productivity improvements.
• Act as technologist and catalyst of digital transformation, liaising globally with Digital IT functions.
• Lead and manage the area team and vendors to develop technology-enabled capabilities.
• Maintain strong relationships with business leaders to gain support for transformation.
• Develop and implement Digital IT roadmaps and business cases for new investments.
• Perform business analysis, prepare recommendations, and business plans as needed.
• Oversee solution launches and maximize impact while managing budgets and KPIs.
• Adhere to reference architectures and ensure smooth transitions to sustain functions.
• Support personal development and manage budget, product portfolio, and KPIs.
