Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. is seeking an Instrumentation & Control Engineer (1–3 years) to modernize critical systems at power facilities. You will upgrade analog I&C to digital platforms, produce ECPs, perform calculations, and review OEM docs to meet project requirements. The role involves budgeting input, meetings, and field walks at plant sites.

Travel to client sites and collaboration with project teams are essential, with citizenship considerations noted for some roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Available to start in 1–2 months.
• 1–3 years of experience in instrumentation & control or related field.
• Design modification experiences preferred.
• Proficiency in electrical calculations.
• Knowledge of digital hardware and software in digital I&C systems.
• Involvement in digital upgrade lifecycle: feasibility, procurement specs, design change packages, FAT/SAT, installation, testing.
• Familiarity with current regulatory and industry digital upgrade standards.
• Strong communication and teamwork, with travel ability.
• Some roles may require U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Engineering Change Packages to upgrade obsolete analog systems with digital platforms.
• Conduct engineering calculations and develop design studies.
• Review OEM documentation to ensure hardware and software meet requirements.
• Contribute to project scopes and cost estimates; provide input on budgets and schedules.
• Attend project meetings to ensure alignment and success.
• Travel to plant sites for walk-downs and field validation of designs.
• Build strong client and team relationships through professional communication.
