Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. is seeking an Instrumentation & Control Engineer (1–3 years) to modernize critical systems at power facilities.

The role focuses on upgrading analog I&C platforms to digital solutions, performing design calculations, and supporting project scopes and budgets. You'll collaborate with project managers, clients, and field personnel, traveling to plant sites to conduct walk-downs and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Completed a bachelor's or master's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering from an accredited university.
• Available to start in the next 1-2 months.
• Design modification experiences preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in the preparation of electrical calculations.
• Knowledge of digital hardware and software components commonly used in digital I&C system platforms.
• Direct involvement in the entire digital upgrade life cycle including feasibility studies, procurement specifications, design change packages, FAT/SAT test procedure development, installation, and testing.
• Working knowledge of the application of current regulatory and industry digital upgrade standards.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong analytical skills and problem identification/resolution.
• Ability to travel for client and company projects and/or meetings.
• Some roles may involve work on federal contracts that require U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Engineering Change Packages (ECPs) to upgrade obsolete analog systems with digital platforms.
• Conduct engineering calculations, develop design studies, and contribute to project scopes and cost estimates.
• Review OEM documentation to ensure hardware and software meet project requirements; collaborate with PMs and clients.
