The Cyber Crime Bureau (CCB) has an immediate opening for a Digital Forensic Analyst in its High-Tech Analysis Unit (HTAU). CCB is committed to protecting the public by combating sophisticated cybercrime schemes in Manhattan and worldwide. HTAU Analysts conduct digital forensic examinations of devices on criminal cases across the District Attorney’s Office – from cryptocurrency and SIM-swapping to sex trafficking, robbery, and homicide cases. In this position, the Digital Forensic Analyst is responsible for providing highly sophisticated technical forensic analytical support to any criminal investigation and prosecution conducted by the Bureau and the office at large.
In addition to the Minimum Qualification Requirements, all candidates must possess the following:
*Master’s degree can be substituted for years of experience.*
Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Current office employees: To be eligible for a transfer or promotion, staff must have already served at least 1 year in their current unit/bureau/department and be in good standing. In addition, must meet the minimum and additional qualifications of the position.
