Job summary

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution is seeking a digital-first Associate Video Producer to grow in writing, shooting, producing, and editing while telling compelling stories for Atlanta audiences across platforms.

You’ll work with experienced journalists and editors to develop video journalism and explainers for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and the AJC’s owned platforms, helping define a bold visual identity for the next generation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Strong foundation in video production and eagerness to grow as a versatile producer.
• Proficiency with post-production software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or similar tools.
• Experience shooting with professional or prosumer cameras and basic lighting and audio techniques.

Responsibilities

• Research, pitch and produce short-form videos and documentaries aligned with the AJC brand.
• Develop evergreen content supporting the broader video strategy.
• Write journalistically sound video scripts and incorporate feedback from editors.
