Job summary

UNCLE Credit Union in Livermore, CA is seeking a full-time, on-site Member Services Specialist to help members achieve financial success through friendly, personalized service. You will handle in-bound calls, chat, and email, build relationships, and educate members on digital tools and products.

Requirements include a high school diploma and 6+ months in banking or customer service; strong communication, problem-solving and relationship-building skills; comfort with multiple computer systems;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months or more of banking, credit union, financial services, call center, or customer service experience.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, relationship-building skills and strong verbal and written communication ability.
• Comfortable using multiple computer systems and applications.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Spanish speaking is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist members through in-bound, phone, chat, and email interactions.
• Build relationships by identifying member needs and recommending appropriate products and services.
• Educate members on credit union products, services, and digital banking tools.
• Support account inquiries, transactions, technical support, and service requests.
• Meet service, quality, and referral goals.
• Accurately document member interactions and maintain compliance with policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver an outstanding member experience.

Compensation:

• $23-27/hr. DOE. (Additional: Spanish Speaker hourly premium)
