Job summary

nou Systems, Inc. in Huntsville, AL, seeks an Area Manager to lead Digital Ecosystems across government programs and emerging technologies. You will oversee multiple program managers and technical leads to drive technical excellence, growth, and execution aligned with customer needs.

Responsibilities include setting the technical vision for software modernization, managing budgets and revenue, developing talent, and expanding strategic partnerships. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
• 12+ years of experience in software engineering, systems engineering, or related technical disciplines.
• 7+ years of experience in product or program management, leading complex technical programs and/or engineering organizations.
• Experience managing cost, schedule, and technical performance on DoD or similarly complex programs.
• Strong business acumen with demonstrated experience in business development, proposals, and customer engagement.
• Proven leadership of technical organizations with experience mentoring engineers and developing talent.
• Strong customer engagement and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain or maintain a security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical vision and strategy for Digital Ecosystems, identifying emerging technologies and solutions.
• Own profit and loss accountability for the Digital Ecosystems area, managing budgets and revenue performance.
• Drive revenue growth and customer diversification within the area and expand relationships.
• Develop, mentor, and guide staff, promoting career advancement and knowledge sharing.
• Oversee cost, schedule, and technical performance across the portfolio.
