Job summary

nou Systems, Inc. is seeking an Area Manager for Digital Ecosystems to lead software modernization across government programs from Huntsville, AL. The role requires driving technical excellence, growing the business pipeline, and guiding program managers and engineers to meet strategic objectives.

You will oversee budgeting, staffing, and delivery, while promoting innovation and customer engagement across the portfolio. This is a senior leadership position with travel to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
• 12+ years of experience in software/ systems engineering or related fields.
• 7+ years in product or program management leading complex technical programs.
• Experience managing cost, schedule, and technical performance on DoD or complex programs.
• Strong business acumen with experience in business development, proposals and customer engagement.
• Proven leadership of technical organizations with mentoring and talent development.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain/ maintain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical vision and strategy for Digital Ecosystems across multiple programs.
• Own P&L accountability for the Digital Ecosystems area and drive revenue growth.
• Provide guidance to program managers and technical leads to align with objectives.
• Grow the customer base and diversify relationships across government agencies.
• Mentor staff and optimize resource allocation across the division.
• Oversee cost, schedule, and technical performance to ensure customer satisfaction.
