nou Systems, Inc. is seeking an Area Manager to lead the Digital Ecosystems portfolio in Huntsville, AL, with travel to customer sites as needed. You will drive technical excellence, oversee program managers and deliver growth across government and commercial markets.

The role requires strong leadership, a deep technical background, and a track record of managing complex programs with budget and schedule accountability. You will influence strategy, mentor teams, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
• 12+ years experience in software or systems engineering, with 7+ years in product or program management.
• Experience managing cost, schedule, and technical performance on DoD or similar programs.
• Strong business acumen in proposals, customer engagement, and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Digital Ecosystems area, setting technical vision and driving modernization initiatives.
• Oversee multiple program managers and technical leads to ensure alignment with objectives.
• Own P&L, manage budgets, revenue performance and cost effectiveness.
• Develop staff, optimize resource allocation, and remove barriers to execution.
• Represent the company in public and customer-facing forums to promote capabilities.
