Eurostampa North America is seeking a Digital ABG Digicon Operator to operate and maintain the ABG Digicon machine in Napa, California. The role involves performing key finishing processes, ensuring high-quality label production, and troubleshooting any issues during production. The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma and preferably technical certification in printing technology, with prior manufacturing experience. The position offers a competitive hourly rate of $20.00 - $25.00 and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical certification in printing technology or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably within the printing or packaging industry.

Responsibilities

• Operate the ABG Digicon machine to perform finishing processes such as laminating, foiling, varnishing, die-cutting, and embossing on printed labels.
• Set up the Digicon machine according to job specifications, adjusting settings to ensure precise and high-quality output.
• Utilize the ERP system to track down the production/downtime of the machine.
• Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of the machine to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
• Perform quality control checks throughout the production process to ensure all labels meet customer specifications and company standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues, material jams, or inconsistencies in label production.
• Monitor production schedules and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines efficiently.
• Collaborate with prepress, HP operators, quality teams, and production teams to ensure a smooth workflow and timely project completion.
• Maintain accurate records of production runs, machine settings, and any adjustments made during the process.
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a clean and organized workspace.
