Job summary

Renesas Electronics seeks a recent graduate with a BSc/MSc in Electrical/Computer Engineering to join the Infrastructure Power team in Austin, TX as a Digital Design Electrical Engineer. You will work on advanced digital power ICs and gain exposure to design, verification, debugging, simulation, and automation scripting in a collaborative environment.

You will contribute to pre- and post-silicon workflows and toolchains, with Cadence or Synopsys environments, while developing strong scripting

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (EE/ECE) required.
• Experience debugging mixed-signal designs in SystemVerilog test benches.
• Proficiency in Python or Perl scripting.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, debug, and verify digital designs in pre and post silicon environment.
• Write tests to verify digital designs.
• Learn, develop and improve scripts to facilitate design automation flows.
• Document design requirement, architecture, and implementation.
• Research and present new tools in aid of design development process
