Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Digital Clerk to fulfill online curbside orders, creating a smooth pickup experience from start to finish. You will help drive loyalty and customer satisfaction by handling orders quickly and accurately while greeting customers warmly.

The role emphasizes a service mindset, strong communication, and attention to detail. Training will be provided; prior retail or cashier experience is a plus. This is a full-time position in a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; prior retail experience preferred.
• Past cashier experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
• Process-driven with the ability to follow procedures in an efficient, consistent way.
• Past online ordering experience a plus.
• You have the ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide remarkable curbside service through accurate order fulfillment and payment collection.
• Greet customers with a courteous, friendly attitude and respond to questions.
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers, team members, and leadership.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership when needed.
• Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders during the shift.
• Select items, scan/verify products, and bag items using bagging standards.
• Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines.
• Keep the curbside area clean and ready for the next pickup.
• Support other tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
