Job summary

Meijer is hiring a Digital Clerk to fulfill online curbside orders and create a smooth pickup experience for customers. You will provide friendly, efficient service at the Meijer Pickup area, handle payments, and help ensure orders are accurate and ready on time.

The role emphasizes a service mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to learn new technologies quickly. Prior retail or online ordering experience is a plus, with training provided to get you up to speed.

Responsibilities

• Provide remarkable service at the curbside pickup through accurate order fulfillment and payment collection.
• Greet each customer with a courteous, friendly attitude (in person and on the phone) and respond to questions and needs.
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers, team members across the store and leadership.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership when needed.
• Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift.
• Select items throughout the store, scan/verify products, and bag items appropriately using bagging standards.
• Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines.
• Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
