Job summary

Meijer is hiring a Digital Clerk to fulfill online curbside orders, turning shopping lists into quick, reliable pickups. You’ll work with a friendly, service-first mindset to ensure accuracy and a smooth carside experience.

No prior knowledge needed; training provided to learn our process and technology. In this role you’ll greet customers, collect payments, and coordinate with store teams to keep curbside operations efficient.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; prior retail experience preferred.
• Past cashier experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
• Process-driven with the ability to follow procedures in an efficient, consistent way.

Responsibilities

• Provide remarkable curbside service at the Meijer Pickup area through accurate order fulfillment and payment collection.
• Greet each customer with a courteous, friendly attitude (in person and on the phone) and respond to questions and needs.
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers, team members across the store and leadership.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership when needed.
• Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift.
• Select items throughout the store, scan/verify products, and bag items appropriately using bagging standards.
• Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines.
• Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
