Job description

Social Content Art Director – NYC (On-site Required)

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Social Content Art Director to create compelling, social-first content that communicates both technical and consumer-facing ideas. You’ll work across multiple projects, concepting and producing quick-turn content with a strong grasp of social trends, storytelling, and visual craft.

Key Responsibilities

1. Translate complex topics into engaging, easy-to-understand social content.
2. Concept, art direct, and produce social-first videos, especially in-product experiences.
3. Operate cameras (Sony FX3, iPhone), manage lighting (including green screens), and direct shoots.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and iterate quickly based on feedback.
5. Stay current on social media trends and apply them in a corporate context.

Required Skills

1. Strong storytelling and visual direction for social platforms.
2. Hands-on experience with video production, lighting, and camera operation.
3. Ability to shoot and direct employee-generated content.
4. Familiarity with UGC formats, trending templates, and social aesthetics.
5. Experience as a Director of Photography (DP) or co-director.

Qualifications

1. 5+ years of experience creating social content for brands/products.
2. Skilled in shooting with iPhone and Sony cinema cameras.
3. Strong communication, collaboration, and self-starting mindset.
4. Experience working across multiple social platforms and formats.

Nice To Have

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100.00 - $100.00/hr.
