The Digital Content Specialist works in a fast-paced, global organization across different time zones. They are responsible for organizing, loading, updating, and removing website content across digital properties. Additionally, they set go-live and expiration dates for content, ensuring alignment with the marketing calendar. The role involves creating standards-compliant, cross-browser, cross-platform web pages on responsive sites using web technologies such as HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.

Representative Responsibilities

  1. Load marketing content into pre-built components, ensuring publish dates conform to the marketing calendar and content accuracy.
  2. Create consistent, standards-compliant web pages on responsive sites using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and existing or new frameworks, also applicable for digital in-store assets.
  3. Write accessible, ADA-compliant code.
  4. Self-test code to minimize revisions needed by QA.
  5. Collaborate with Brand Marketing and Creative teams to design engaging digital experiences that showcase the brand, technology, or products.
  6. Assist in updating the site weekly using assets from the creative team and site tagging from analytics, maintaining performance and ADA compliance.
  7. Optimize responsive web pages for various screen sizes, advising on UX tradeoffs for content, performance, or conversion goals.
  8. Provide project estimates and execute projects within deadlines, clarifying requirements as needed.
  9. Engage with business partners to address or improve consumer experiences through problem-solving and idea sharing.
  10. Create well-documented, reusable code and detailed processes.
  11. Use analytics and web tools to track user experiences and optimize funnels and KPIs.
  12. Participate in team meetings, proactively identifying risks and solutions.

Minimum Education

  • Bachelor's degree, associate degree, or equivalent work experience.

Skills & Experience

  • 1-2 years in a similar eCommerce role.
  • Strong communication skills in business and technical contexts.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and manage initiatives.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript; experience with Figma, Visual Studio, and Microsoft tools preferred.
  • Ability to code on a MacBook.
  • Effective time management and attention to detail.
  • Experience with Agile and task tracking tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.

Physical & Working Conditions

  • Sitting, standing, and typing for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work some weekends and travel up to 5%.
  • Remote work with limited on-site requirements.
