Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism or equivalent
• Ability to write, produce, and post news content with accuracy and urgency
• Strong understanding of digital analytics and social media strategy
• Knowledge of AP style and newsroom standards
• Ability to work under pressure with limited supervision

Responsibilities

• Gather, write, report, and edit news stories for digital platforms
• Post stories and multimedia content to digital channels, including social media
• Coordinate livestream coverage of breaking news
• Plan daily coverage with assignment desk and news director
• Provide daily copy edits and feedback to staff
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing for news promotions
• Train digital anchor for live streams
