Job summary

Texas A&M Agrilife Extension Service in College Station is seeking a Project Coordinator I to manage online articles, blogs, videos, podcasts, and other multimedia resources, while supporting website content management, SEO, and social media promotion.

You will collaborate with the Educational Content Management Team to coordinate production, editing, publishing, and promotion of online educational content, and work with faculty and subject matter experts to convert research into engaging

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Agricultural Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Digital Media, Multimedia Production, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Supports production, editing, publishing, and promotion of online educational content.
• Assists with video recording and production, including camera setup, audio recording, lighting, editing, captioning, and preparation of videos for online distribution.
• Assists with recording, editing, and producing podcasts and other audio-based educational content.
• Works with AgriLife Extension faculty, specialists, county educators, and other subject matter experts to transform research-based information into engaging digital content for public audiences.
• Creates and publishes online articles and other educational content using WordPress and similar web publishing platforms.
• Assists with formatting webpages and online articles, including images, hyperlinks, headings, metadata, and other content elements.
• Applies basic SEO practices to improve visibility of online content.

Education
