Job description

Role is remote in the LA area with an onsite day monthly at LA location for team collaboration.

The main function of the Content Marketing Manager is to develop and execute marketing strategy and deliverables across the VR Media Content team. The role entails organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling content to increase engagement with media on AR/VR surfaces, requiring strong organizational skills, a creative mindset, and experience in VR marketing.

Responsibilities

  1. Coordinate digital asset production and workflow to produce and distribute digital assets for promotion, including PR, communications, social media, VR modules, and VR discovery channels.
  2. Create work-back schedules and manage day-to-day communication with internal and external agencies and stakeholders related to promotional campaigns.
  3. Oversee campaigns from inception through launch and post-launch engagement.
  4. Monitor and report on campaign performance and VR placements to advocate for improvements or optimizations.
  5. Develop, manage, and execute digital marketing strategies, updating as priorities shift and communicating updates to stakeholders.
  6. Create internal development documentation and best practices for the digital landscape.
  7. Ensure all campaigns adhere to brand guidelines and marketing strategies.
  8. Provide lightweight copywriting for some marketing promotions.
  9. Develop templates and promotional plans for content launches, working with various marketing stakeholders and teams to execute.
  10. Maintain strong communication skills with global counterparts, internally and externally, and advocate for needs to leadership.
  11. Create internal and external wrap-up reports highlighting wins and learnings from campaigns.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree and 6 years of relevant work experience in marketing, creative operations, digital production, or media.
  2. Experience with social media communities and paid marketing preferred.
  3. Production and on-set experience is helpful.
  4. Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Exposure to media planning or production agency experience or experience in high-volume asset management.
  6. Experience with content management systems and publishing/programming tools.
  7. Strong understanding of the digital/social media landscape.
  8. Experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
  9. Excellent planning, organizational, execution, and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  10. Working experience with Adobe Photoshop, Content Management Systems, and HTML.
  11. Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Well-versed in the current entertainment landscape and consumer trends.
  2. Experience developing digital strategies, resources, and collateral for media, especially in VR or media space.
  3. Hands-on experience with campaign data analysis and insights, including social and website/app data.
