Job summary

Grand Canyon University seeks a creative intern to develop and produce polished video content from concept to completion. You will film and edit short-form videos for social platforms and assist in longer-form content for YouTube, attending events to capture compelling footage and interviews.

You will brainstorm ideas, support photography needs for campaigns, and help organize assets, while representing the Red Cross with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a GCU student in a bachelor’s or master’s program.
• Able to learn and develop polished content from concept to completion.
• Experience in scripting, filming and editing for social media.

Responsibilities

• Create and edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube Shorts.
• Produce longer-form video content for YouTube and other platforms.
• Brainstorm trend-driven content ideas aligned with Red Cross mission.
• Attend Red Cross events to capture photo/video content.
• Conduct on-camera interviews with volunteers and staff.
• Assist with photography for campaigns and social posts.
• Organize digital assets and support planning meetings.
• Represent the Red Cross with professionalism and empathy.
