Job summary

U.S. Bank seeks an experienced compliance professional to provide independent risk oversight for Digital banking initiatives, working closely with Digital teams, First Line risk, and Corporate Compliance.

The role emphasizes credible challenge, regulatory knowledge, and strong collaboration across the Second Line of Defense. The candidate will evaluate risks across products, journeys, and communications, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and protecting consumers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Typically more than eight years of applicable experience.
• Extensive knowledge of digital banking compliance.
• Understanding of 2LOD risk management.
• Familiar with UDAAP/UDAP, Regulation E, E-SIGN, FCRA.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent compliance risk oversight.
• Support development and maintenance of compliance framework.
• Oversee Digital products, services and customer journeys for compliance.
• Identify gaps in processes, controls and risks; escalate as needed.
• Communicate and challenge First Line risk-management activities.
