Job summary

AOII Fraternity in Brentwood, TN seeks an Assistant Director of Digital Communication to craft and edit content for email campaigns, the website, blog, and social channels, while ensuring a consistent voice across AOII's communications.

You will oversee website updates, manage content calendars, coach chapters, and collaborate with the Director of Communications on press releases and strategic marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, creative writing or related field.
• Experience with email marketing software platforms.
• Experience with WordPress.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Membership in a Fraternity/Sorority preferred (optional).

Responsibilities

• Create and manage a content calendar for AOII’s online blog and email campaigns.
• Create and edit written content for email marketing campaigns, parent communications, social media campaigns, blog posts, To Dragma, annual reports, and other projects.
• Partner with the Director of Communications to write and distribute press releases and announcements per the Fraternity Communication Plan.
• Copyedit content created by staff and volunteers as needed.
• Provide coaching to collegiate chapters to strengthen written communications.
• Develop and assist with email campaigns and ensure a consistent AOII voice.
