Cal Poly Maritime Academy is seeking a Digital Communications Specialist to lead digital storytelling across websites, social media, e-newsletters and other channels. The role reports to the Director of Communications and Marketing for Cal Poly Maritime Academy and partners with the University Communications and Marketing team.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in a related field and two years of experience.
• A graduate degree in a related field may be substituted for one year of the required experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead digital storytelling for Cal Poly Maritime Academy across websites, social media, newsletters and other channels.
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, cadets and partners to surface story opportunities.
• Align Maritime Academy storytelling with the broader Cal Poly university narrative.
