Job summary

The role works with the storytelling team to develop content that supports Cal Poly’s brand across print, web, video and social media channels.

Reporting to UCM’s Associate Vice President, you’ll help identify opportunities from campus events and current affairs, producing clear, concise materials for external audiences

Qualifications

• Knowledge of communications theories, practices, and techniques in public affairs, media, and marketing.
• Ability to monitor campus events and current affairs to promote the university.
• Strong writing and editing skills for internal and external publication.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and coordinate content across print, web, video, and social channels.
• Collaborate with the storytelling and university communications teams to support Cal Poly’s brand strategies.
