Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Photo Digital Commerce Associate Category Manager to drive photo operations, retail execution, and customer experience across the store network. The role partners with cross-functional teams to plan and execute photo strategies aligning with business objectives.

The candidate will manage large-scale photo initiatives, analyze performance data, and lead improvements to digital merchandising, promotions, and content across channels. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years experience in retail, procurement, merchandising, vendor relations, pharmacy operations or retail marketing.
• Experience with P&L concepts – revenue, COGS, gross profit margin, operating expenses and income.
• Strong knowledge of consumer product merchandising and forecasting for promotions.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, and recommends sales, gross profit level, inventory control, and merchandise turnover objectives for online merchandising.
• Manages financial goals (sales, margin, inventory) and presents results and strategies to leadership.
• Develops online merchandising and promotions to drive Omni channel revenue.
• Negotiates buying contracts and reviews contracts with the Digital Commerce Category Manager.
• Ensures all site product content is current and accurate.
• Analyzes market, competition, and customer data to guide pricing and merchandising opportunities.
• Reviews category performance and sets targets for growth.
• Collaborates cross-functionally to define customer insights and action plans for growth.
• Projects sales forecasts and gross profit levels for assigned categories.
