Job summary

HCLTech is looking for a highly talented and self-motivated Digital CAD Flow Developer to advance RTL-to-GDSII implementation flows using Synopsys RM, enabling efficient SoC delivery in a remote setting.

You will drive flow automation, debug complex design and tool-flow issues, create documentation, and collaborate with design, CAD, and EDA vendors to address technology challenges.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Shell, Perl, Tcl, Python, AWK, Make, C++, or similar scripting languages.
• Ability to develop parsers and automation for design data formats such as Verilog and DEF.
• Experience handling large-scale SoC designs and optimizing script performance.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain RTL-to-GDSII flows, including flow creation, customization, and optimization.
• Drive automation and methodology improvements across implementation domains.
• Support at least two areas such as RTL CDC, Synthesis, DFT, Floorplanning, P&R, CTS, Power Optimization, Physical Verification, Timing Closure, or Equivalence Checking.
• Debug complex design and tool-flow issues, perform root cause analysis, and deliver scalable solutions.
• Create documentation, train users, and present solutions to engineering and management teams.
• Collaborate with design, CAD, and EDA vendors to address technology and flow challenges.

We are seeking a Digital CAD Flow Developer to develop, enhance, and support RTL-to-GDSII implementation flows using Synopsys Reference Methodology (RM). The role involves driving flow automation, debugging complex design challenges, and enabling efficient SoC implementation across advanced technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain RTL-to-GDSII flows, including flow creation, customization, and optimization.
• Drive automation and methodology improvements across implementation domains.
• Support at least two areas such as RTL CDC, Synthesis, DFT, Floorplanning, P&R, CTS, Power Optimization, Physical Verification, Timing Closure, or Equivalence Checking.

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range Minimum: $95000/Year

Pay Range Maximum: $192000/Year
