Job summary

DCG ONE Seattle seeks a Digital Bindery Operator to run finishing equipment for jobs off our digital printers. You will handle paper cutters, folding machines, binders, and stitchers with a focus on quality and efficiency.

Qualified candidates have at least 1 year of bindery experience and strong knowledge of print production processes. This role requires adherence to safety policies and occasional equipment maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience with bindery equipment.
• Knowledge of print production and bindery/finishing processes.
• May be required to complete and pass Public Trust Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Operate bindery machinery and equipment with timeliness and quality in mind.
• Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Set stop or guide to specific length as indicated by scale or template.
• Position workpiece against stops or align layout marks with die or blade.
• Detect defects or malfunctions, remove defective products, report issues.
