Job summary

Lakeside Book Company in Ashland, Ohio is seeking a Digital Bindery Operator to run bindery equipment and support production on a full-time basis. The role starts on 1st shift during training and moves to 3rd shift after training.

The position offers $15.00 per hour with a $1.50 shift differential on 3rd shift, on-demand pay, and comprehensive benefits. Applicants should be comfortable standing for long periods and performing light lifting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or 6+ months of experience required.
• Ability to perform simple math.
• Ability to use a ruler – standard and metric.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Previous forklift experience preferred.

Shift:

9:30pm-6:00am, Monday-Friday – overtime as required

Training:

Your first 4-5 weeks will be worked on 1st shift (5:30am-2:00pm). Following your successful competition of training, you will move to your 3rd shift schedule.

What We’re Looking For:

• High School Diploma or 6+ months of experience - required
• Ability to perform simple math
• Ability to use a ruler – both standard and metric
• Basic computer skills
• Previous forklift experience

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, bend, squat, climb, and lift up to 50lbs frequently
• Read small print, work in close quarters, and complete small finger movements
• Exposure to dust or fumes, and marked changes in temperature and/or humidity
