Job summary

Beneficial Talent Source in Pittsburgh is seeking an experienced binder/operator for a direct-hire role in a bindery environment. The position requires prior experience programming and setting up a variety of bindery machines and associated equipment.

The company offers benefits and competitive hourly pay. Shifts include 2nd and 3rd with a $1.75/hr shift differential; candidates must be able to lift up to 20 lbs and work well in a team.

Qualifications

• Set up, adjust and maintenance of folders, cutters, binder, in-line cover-inserter with four-knife trimmer.
• Read Job Tickets and equipment instructions.
• Monitor equipment, troubleshoot issues, and make adjustments.
• Daily maintenance and cleaning of machinery, lubrication of pumps and moving parts.
• Inspect samples for quality requirements.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs frequently during an 8 hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate bindery equipment.
• Monitor and adjust machines for quality.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning.
• Assist team to meet production targets.
