Job summary

Walsworth is seeking a Bindery - Operator III in Wisconsin Ripon to manage the setup, operation, troubleshooting and maintenance of binding equipment. The role features four 10-hour shifts (3pm–1am) with possible Friday shifts (1pm–9pm).

The operator will work with Monarch software, perform routine adjustments, and uphold production schedules while mentoring new operators and contributing to process improvements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 30 days in a Bindery role.

Job Summary:

As a Bindery - Operator III you will be responsible for the set up, operation, troubleshooting and maintenance of applicable binding equipment. This position is for 4 days a week of 10 hour shifts from 3pm to 1am with possible work on Fridays 1pm to 9pm.

Essential Functions:

• Set up, run, and maintain assigned machinery.
• Troubleshoot assigned machinery according to company procedures and practices to assure efficiency and quality to meet the required production schedule.
• Read and understand the written information pertaining to the job.
• Strive to meet or exceed departmental and company goals.
• Interpret and apply department policies, procedures and job instructions accurately.
• Communicate effectively with incoming shift personnel to ensure smooth transitions and minimal disruptions.
• Maintain accurate counts.
• Move and organize scheduled work for assigned machinery.
• Assist in training new Bindery Operators.
• Monitor production and quality to make recommendations on process improvements.
• All other duties as assigned.
