Job summary

HDR is seeking a Digital Automation Intern to support and maintain development efforts, assist in enhancements and integrations, and troubleshoot automation issues. The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams and documentation of processes for ongoing projects.

The ideal candidate is pursuing a CS/IT degree with exposure to Power Platform and AI-enabled automation. Full-time internship with an emphasis on learning from experienced professionals in an employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate program in CS/IT or related field.
• Experience with low-code/no-code development using Microsoft Power Platform.
• Exposure to AI models, AI-driven workflows, and emerging automation technologies.

In the role of Digital Automation Intern, we'll count on you to:

• Collaborate with the technical team to support and maintain development
• Assist in developing, testing, and implementing enhancements, customizations, and integrations.

• Contribute to the documentation of technical processes, configurations, and system changes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical solutions for business challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience with low-code/no-code development using Microsoft Power Platform
• Exposure to agentic AI models, AI-driven workflows, and emerging technologies that enable intelligent automation and modern work
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and willingness to learn from experienced professionals.
• Local candidates preferred
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
