Job summary

Rational 360 in Washington, DC is hiring a Digital Associate (AI & Automation) to join its growing digital team. The role focuses on generative AI, automation, and data-driven communications strategies to advance client programs in 2026.

You will blend traditional digital marketing with hands-on AI tooling, evaluating large language models, building AI-assisted automations, and coding in Python or JavaScript.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of communications, digital, political, or data/AI-related experience.
• Hands-on experience with workflow automation tools such as Zapier, Make, or monday.com.
• Coding experience in Python, JavaScript, or other languages is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Familiarity with digital media channels and social platforms.
• Familiarity with AI analytics or social analytics tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage internal and client relationships for digital marketing campaigns.
• Customize digital and social media strategies to client goals.
• Explore and implement AI-powered solutions for communications, marketing, and advertising.
• Advise senior leaders on AI use in campaigns, monitoring, and content development.
• Automate workflows for digital marketing tasks like media clip reporting and audience segmentation.
• Run day-to-day digital and social campaigns, including community management and social ads.
• Analyze digital conversations and advise on future campaigns.
• Evaluate and recommend AI tools based on task and client needs.
