Senator Chris Van Hollen is seeking a Digital Assistant to join his active communications team. This role will work with the Digital Director and Communications Director to manage the Senator’s social media and produce video and additional social media content. Candidates should be able to draft copy for & post on social media platforms as well and assist in capturing, editing, and producing compelling video content for a variety of platforms. Primary duties will include, but are not limited to: editing video content for a variety of platforms, drafting content that aligns with the Senator’s values; and monitoring the Senator’s social media. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team. They will also have some experience with video equipment and editing with the Adobe Creative Suite.
