Job description

Bring order to creativity. Build the system. Shape what comes next.

At POLYWOOD, we believe great creative work deserves great organization. The kind of organization that allows designers to create faster, marketers to launch with confidence, and every team to quickly find exactly what they need.

We are looking for a Digital Asset Manager to help us transform how we organize, manage, and deliver the thousands of digital assets that power our business. This is an opportunity to build something foundational, improve the daily work of nearly every department, and ultimately own one of the most important systems supporting our Creative team.

---------------------------------------

The Work You’ll Love Doing

POLYWOOD has grown through innovation, craftsmanship, and a commitment to building products that last. Along the way, we've created an enormous library of product photography, lifestyle imagery, videos, CAD files, renderings, marketing materials, brand assets, and product documentation.

As our business continues to grow, so does the need for a better way to organize and manage those assets.

Today, we utilize Salsify as our Product Information Management (PIM) platform, but we do not yet have a dedicated Digital Asset Management (DAM) system. Our Creative team spends valuable time organizing, searching for, and managing digital assets that should be easier to locate and leverage.

This role represents an exciting opportunity to change that.

You’ll establish metadata standards, create taxonomy and naming conventions, improve workflows, develop governance, and help lead the implementation and ownership of POLYWOOD's future DAM platform.

This is much more than organizing files.

It’s about creating a system that allows Creative, Marketing, Product Development, Sales, Customer Service, Ecommerce, and IT to work smarter, faster, and more efficiently.

There is tremendous opportunity here.

Our asset library has grown alongside our business. The right person will enjoy bringing structure where it’s needed, building scalable processes, and creating a digital asset ecosystem that supports POLYWOOD for years to come.

---------------------------------------

Where You Will Make an Impact
  • Organizing and governing tens of thousands of digital assets across the business
  • Developing metadata standards, taxonomy, file naming conventions, and governance policies
  • Improving searchability, accessibility, version control, and lifecycle management
  • Supporting product launches by ensuring assets are organized and available when needed
  • Partnering with Creative, Marketing, Product Development, Sales, Customer Service, Ecommerce, and IT
  • Building standard operating procedures and documentation that improve consistency across the organization
  • Helping evaluate, implement, and ultimately manage POLYWOOD's Digital Asset Management platform
  • Serving as the company's subject matter expert for digital asset management
  • Improving workflows that reduce duplicate work and eliminate time spent searching for assetsli>
  • Building scalable processes that support future growth

---------------------------------------

What You Bring

You are exceptionally organized and genuinely enjoy bringing structure to complexity.

You naturally create systems. You notice inconsistencies that others overlook. You find satisfaction in checking boxes, creating standards, and leaving things significantly better than you found them.

You have experience managing large libraries of digital content and understand how metadata, taxonomy, governance, and thoughtful organization create long-term value.

You're comfortable working across departments and balancing the needs of Creative, Marketing, Product Development, Sales, Ecommerce, Customer Service, and IT.

Experience working with Digital Asset Management platforms is highly desirable. Experience with Product Information Management (PIM) systems, Adobe Creative Cloud, photography workflows, or agency environments would also be valuable.

Most importantly, you're someone who loves building organization that lasts. You don't just clean things up, you create systems that keep them that way.

---------------------------------------

---------------------------------------

What Makes This Role Special
  • You will help build something from the ground up. This is an opportunity to shape how POLYWOOD manages digital assets for years to come.

  • Strong expertise in metadata, taxonomy, governance, and digital asset organization
  • Experience supporting Creative, Marketing, Ecommerce, or Product teams

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a genuine love for bringing order to complexity
  • Experience managing large libraries of product photography, lifestyle imagery, videos, and marketing assets
  • The ability to think strategically while executing with precision

---------------------------------------

If you're someone who thrives on organization, enjoys solving complex challenges, and wants the opportunity to build a Digital Asset Management program that will support an entire organization, we'd love to meet you.
