Job summary

The National WWII Museum is seeking an Application and Automation Engineer to support, maintain, and improve the Museum’s business applications, with focus on the Digital Asset Management platform and related workflows.

The role involves automation, integration support, reporting, and vendor coordination, with no people-management responsibilities. It requires strong IT support experience, documentation, and collaboration with IT and business teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in application support, automation, or related IT role.
• Experience with automation, scripting, APIs, or low-code/no-code workflow tools.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as IT’s primary technical support resource for the Museum’s Digital Asset Management platform and other business applications.
• Support configuration, workflows, permissions, user access, metadata processes, reports, and operational needs.
• Troubleshoot issues across applications, data, integrations, and permissions; translate user needs into technical actions.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot automations and integrations using approved tools like Power Automate, APIs, and scripts.
• Support DAM governance and documentation of ownership, escalation paths, and repeatable support processes.
