Job summary

King & Partners is seeking an Art Director who blends exceptional visual design with a deep understanding of digital platforms and user experience. This role leads design work across multiple projects in a fast-paced agency environment, translating brand strategy into engaging digital experiences.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in digital and branding design in agencies.
• Strong foundation in layout, typography, color and art direction.
• Ability to translate brand strategy into digital design.
• Proven track record of creating original ideas that push brands.
• Ability to present concepts to internal teams and clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creative development of digital experiences across websites, landing pages, campaigns, emails, social content, and interactive touchpoints.
• Create design solutions balancing creativity, usability and business objectives.
• Translate brand strategy into compelling design systems and user experiences.
• Develop page layouts, visual hierarchies, component systems and interactions to elevate UX.
• Present concepts and rationale to internal teams and clients clearly.
• Collaborate with Creative Directors, Strategists, Copywriters, UX Designers, Developers, Producers and Account Managers.
• Provide design direction and feedback to team members while ensuring consistency.
• Ensure work meets craft, brand, accessibility and functionality standards.
• Stay current with digital trends and best practices to raise quality.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines with strong attention to detail.
