Job summary

Dow Jones invites students to join the Advertising Operations team as a Digital Operations Intern for a 10-week summer program in New York City. The role provides hands-on exposure to ad campaigns, data analysis, and workflow optimization within a collaborative, mentor-driven environment.

You will gain experience across campaign execution, reporting, and process improvements, with training on Google Data Studios, Sheets, and related tools.

Qualifications

• You have completed at least two years towards your Bachelor’s degree.
• Business Administration or Marketing majors preferred but all applicants are accepted
• Ability to multitask, and work efficiently within a high-paced changing environment
• Strong analytical and problem skills
• Strong written and communication skills
• Some proficiency in excel or data studios
• Some proficiency in Google Docs or similar products
• Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn

Responsibilities

• Assist with the execution, monitoring, and optimization of advertising campaigns across various platforms.
• Gain hands-on experience and practical knowledge of the advertising industry
• Create reports using a mix of tools: Google Data Studios, Google Sheets, and other visualization tools
• Help organize and structure workflow documents
• Help with various administrative tasks related to advertising operations, including data entry, documentation, and process improvements.
• Work with the analytics and Revenue Operations team to build at least one report workflow with automated validation testing
