Alongside this project and as the “go‑live” dust settles, you’ll help build the foundation for scaling DAP solutions to other software platforms by creating end‑to‑end governance for how S&L scopes, designs, builds, tests, approves, deploys, maintains, and evaluates WalkMe solutions.

This is a full‑time temporary position, scheduled for 40 hours per week, with an estimated duration of 12 months.

Typical Activities Include
WalkMe Project Coordination for Workday Implementation (with support from external implementation partner)
  • Serving as the primary Training & Development point of contact for the WalkMe Workday implementation project .
  • Coordinating with S&L’s external WalkMe implementation partner and internal subject‑matter experts to clarify requirements, review proposed solutions, co‑build solutions , resolve issues, and maintain alignment with S&L’s business and technical needs.
  • Managing project scope, schedules, risks, decisions, action items, dependencies, communications, status reporting .
  • Translating between business, process, technical, and learning perspectives so that WalkMe solutions are usable, maintainable, and aligned with S&L’s intended Workday experience.
Process, Governance, and Center of Excellence Development (with support from external implementation partner)
  • Defining and documenting a scalable end‑to‑end DAP lifecycle, including intake, prioritization, scoping, needs analysis, solution design, build, review, testing, approval , deployment, measurement, maintenance, retirement, and archival.
  • Establishing practical standards, templates, checklists, naming conventions, review criteria, approval gates, documentation expectations, and quality controls that align with existing Training and IT requirements.
  • Establishing a responsibility matrix and clear handoffs among subject‑matter experts, process owners, IT, Training & Development, system administrators, and business stakeholders.
  • Supporting knowledge transfer to S&L staff so WalkMe solutions can be maintained and expanded after the temporary assignment ends.
End‑to‑End Solution Analysis, Design, Development, and Continuous Improvement ( for Workday and other platforms)
  • Leading intake and scoping activities to understand the business problem, target audience, user journey, workflow, system context, performance expectations, error traps, pain points, and desired business outcome.
  • Designing solution proposals that define the intended user experience, audience segmentation, WalkMe capabilities, content types, workflow coverage, success measures, dependencies, risks, and maintenance requirements.
  • Creating journey maps, solution maps, storyboards, prototypes, content inventories, requirements documents, and other artifacts to communicate the solution vision and support stakeholder decisions.
  • Building , configuring , and troubleshooting WalkMe solutions that include a range of WalkMe features ( smart walkthroughs, launchers, smart tips, surveys, contextual guidance, validation, etc.) .
  • Configuring segmentation and personalization so that users receive relevant guidance based on role, audience, workflow, system state, or other appropriate criteria.
  • Documenting build decisions, configuration details, test results, known limitations, release notes, and maintenance requirements.
  • Establishing a recurring optimization and content‑maintenance cadence that accounts for Workday releases, business‑process changes, system changes, and evolving user needs.
  • Using WalkMe Insights and other available data sources to monitor engagement, task completion, workflow friction, drop‑off points, error patterns, search behavior, and other indicators of user experience and adoption.

While this is a remote position, occasional travel to the Chicago office may be required.
