Job summary

The Banner is seeking a Digital Advertising Business Development Manager to grow our advertising business by identifying and developing new client opportunities. You will research prospects, conduct outbound outreach, qualify leads, and support Account Executives to build a strong pipeline.

You will maintain CRM records, collaborate with teams, and participate in networking to identify prospects and strengthen client relationships. Salary range is $70,000–$77,000 with commissions potential.

Qualifications

• Experience in media sales or business development is required or strongly preferred.
• Strong research skills and curiosity about businesses and prospective clients.
• Comfort with outbound outreach by phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels.
• Clear written and verbal communication with the ability to build professional relationships.
• Collaborative mindset and openness to coaching in advertising sales.

Responsibilities

• Research prospective advertisers, industries, decision-makers, and market segments to identify opportunities and build targeted lists.
• Conduct personalized outreach through phone, email, LinkedIn, networking, and other channels to start conversations with prospective advertisers.
• Qualify prospective clients by understanding their business goals, audience, timing, and advertising needs.
• Schedule qualified introductory meetings and opportunities for Account Executives.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and track outreach and next steps to move opportunities through the pipeline.
