KPMG is seeking a Digital Accessibility Specialist to join our Digital Nexus technology organization in a hybrid work setting.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in developing and implementing a comprehensive digital accessibility strategy aligned with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 (WCAG 2.2) and other standards.
2. Support the creation and execution of strategic plans, including developing processes for accessibility improvements and prioritizing initiatives aligned with business objectives and user needs.
3. Collaborate with User Experience and Digital Enablement teams to ensure digital experiences are accessible for all users.
4. Provide training and education on accessibility best practices, standards, and tools; work with cross-functional teams to embed accessibility into the product development lifecycle.
5. Stay informed of the latest accessibility regulations and standards, ensure compliance, and promote a culture of accessibility within the organization.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum three years of recent experience in digital accessibility, with a focus on WCAG 2.2 and strategic implementation.
2. Bachelor's degree preferred; certifications such as WAS or CPACC are a plus.
3. Proven experience leading large-scale accessibility projects and working with UX/UI design methodologies.
4. Experience with accessibility testing tools like JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and automated testing tools.
5. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
