Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Diffusion Equipment Technician to join a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment producing advanced semiconductor devices. You’ll work with technicians and engineers in the fab and contribute to maintaining equipment through preventative maintenance and problem solving on the cleanroom floor.

The role emphasizes safety, adherence to SOPs and OCAPs, and collaboration with engineers and teammates to drive reliable operations in a state-of-the-art

Qualifications

• Requires understanding of job tasks and ability to apply knowledge to a wide range of tasks.
• Works on moderately difficult assignments requiring judgment in resolving issues or making recommendations.
• Typically receives little instruction on everyday work and orientation on new assignments.
• Minimum 3 years of related experience since TB1.

Responsibilities

• Follow 6S in office and fab with safety as a priority.
• Follow SOPs, PTPs, and OCAPs for efficient, safe, and cost-effective work.
• Perform preventative maintenance including mechanical assembly/disassembly on fab equipment.
• Use structured problem solving to find impactful solutions to complex problems.
• Communicate effectively with engineers, leaders, and teammates.
• Work in a team on the cleanroom floor in a full cleanroom smock.
