Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Manassas, Virginia, is seeking a Process Engineer to own Diffusion, Implant, and RTP processes in our high-volume fab. Qualifications

• Master's degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• 0-2 years of semiconductor process engineering or related experience, including internships or co-ops.
• Understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes and device physics through coursework or experience.
• Experience designing experiments and analyzing engineering data with exposure to statistics and SPC.
• Strong technical communication, documentation, and hands-on work in a cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Own and sustain Diffusion, Implant, and RTP processes, monitor SPC and FDC; manage recipes and specifications.
• Investigate excursions using root cause analysis and structured problem solving; collaborate on corrective actions.
• Improve capability, yield, throughput, and cost via experiments, data analysis, BKMs, and continuous-improvement projects.
• Support equipment installations, qualifications, preventive maintenance, and change-control documentation.
• Maintain process and training documentation and use AI-enabled workflows to improve productivity.
