Job summary

Diodes Incorporated seeks a Manager, Manufacturing Process Engineering to lead the Diffusion/EPI Process team within a 24/7 wafer fab. The role guides sustaining efforts and supports transfers and process development across cross-functional groups to implement world-class IC processes.

The ideal candidate has a BS in engineering, 10+ years in epitaxy process engineering, and proven leadership to drive quality, delivery and cost metrics in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of epitaxy semiconductor process engineering experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of device physics and process integration.
• Demonstrated and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in teams and collaborate across functions.
• Strong time management for on-time delivery.
• Ability to build strong, influential relationships.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• 5+ years of managerial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the process engineering team and align site priorities to individual responsibilities.
• Train, motivate, and set expectations for high performance and rigorous engineering methodology.
• Manage team performance to achieve quality, delivery and cost metrics.
• Plan, organize and manage resources for cross-functional and multi-disciplined integration projects.
• Create and foster a team culture focused on growth, shared responsibility and collaboration.
• Collaborate with process management and other cross-functional teams onsite to resolve issues.
