Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, seeks a Dietitian to deliver individualized medical nutrition therapy within a multidisciplinary team across ambulatory and inpatient settings. You will apply nutrition care processes, assess needs, diagnose gaps, intervene with both diet plans and education, and monitor outcomes.
You will collaborate with providers to develop guidelines, mentor dietetic interns, and contribute to nutrition education, research, and program development.

Provides individualized medical nutrition therapy to ambulatory and hospitalized patients as part of a multidisciplinary team in a tertiary care center. Applies medical nutrition therapy standards of care to incorporate the nutrition care process: nutrition assessment/re‑assessment, nutrition diagnosis, nutrition intervention (food and/or nutrient delivery, nutrition education, nutrition counseling and coordination of nutrition care) and nutrition monitoring/evaluation. This includes advanced/specialized nutrition care for high acuity/medically complex patients.
Works collaboratively with colleagues throughout the enterprise to develop MNT practice guidelines and/or protocols, curriculum and nutrition education materials. Precepts dietetic interns; mentors and trains new staff (clinic and hospitals). Collaborates with dietetic technicians and administrative support staff.
Works collaboratively with providers and other allied health care staff to develop and deliver programs and services that promote both therapeutic and wellness initiatives. Researches best practice to ensure effective interventions and measures outcomes of interventions. Demonstrates effective public speaking/presentation skills.
Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field. Graduate of an Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) accredited internship or approved training program.
Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Minnesota as a Licensed Dietitian (clinic must meet requirements for licensure within 3 months of hire; hospitals must meet requirements within 6 months of hire).
Previous clinical dietetics experience. Advanced degree in nutrition or related field and/or additional nutrition‑related specialty certifications are preferred. Commission on Dietetic Registration credential (clinic must be registered within 3 months of hire; hospitals must be registered within 6 months of hire).
