Job summary

Mayo Clinic in La Crosse, WI, seeks an Environmental Services Technician to maintain clean, safe patient areas in accordance with department standards. You will operate and care for equipment, assist with room setups, and uphold a collaborative work environment on a full-time evening shift.

Qualifications include being 18+, English proficiency, ability to follow directions, and valid driver's license. On-the-job training is provided; weekends and holidays rotation may apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old.
• Must be able to read, write, communicate and understand English.
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
• Must be organized, efficient, and able to work independently and/or in a team setting.
• Shift assignments may be altered to accommodate departmental/customer services.
• One year related health care experience preferred.
• On the job training will be provided.
• Demonstrated knowledge of basic hand tools and equipment needed.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly cleans assigned areas according to department standards.
• Demonstrates proper use and care of all equipment and supplies issued by Environmental Services.
• Disposes of all refuse in the medical center.
• Assists with room setups and transfer of furniture and fixtures.
• Maintains safe environment and productive positive working relationship with others.
