Job summary

Providence Health & Services is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to provide nutrition screening, assessment, and care to patients ranging from neonatal to geriatric. The role operates under the direction of the Manager, Clinical Nutrition, with responsibilities across inpatient settings at Providence St.

Responsibilities

• Screen and assess nutrition needs for patients from neonatal to geriatric.
• Provide nutrition care and education as part of the care team.
• Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans.

Description

Under the general direction of the Manager, Clinical Nutrition, the Clinical Dietitian is responsible for nutrition screening, assessment, and providing nutrition care and education to patients ranging in age from neonatal to geriatric.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a major related to human nutrition or dietetics, from an accredited institution.
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: Washington Dietitian Certification.
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: Washington Nutritionist Certification.
• Upon hire: National CDR Registered Dietitian – Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Completion of a dietetic internship or equivalent experience accredited by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND).

Preferred Qualifications

• Upon hire: Board‑certified specialist in renal, pediatric, oncology, or gerontological nutrition (CDE, CNSC).
• Healthcare clinical experience.

Pay Range

$34.00 - $53.68 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, and bonus opportunities.
