Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK is hiring Registered Dietitians to assess and manage medical nutrition therapy as part of a multidisciplinary nutrition services team. Responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating nutrition care plans, counseling patients and families, and coordinating care across the continuum.
Positions include a full‑time daytime role with a $5,000 hiring bonus for external hires and a part‑time option with a $2,500 bonus.
We are hiring for Dietitian positions in the Clinical Nutrition Services at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK! Applicants that meet qualifications will receive an invite with additional screening questions from our HireVue system! Assessment of medical nutrition therapy needs based upon the patient's medical diagnosis, laboratory values, anthropometric measures, medications, age‑specific requirements, and other co‑morbidity factors identified by the Registered Dietitian Nutritionist or other members of the health care team. Development, implementation, and management of an individualized, interdisciplinary team plan of care designed to achieve maximum nutrition support. Counseling and education with patient/family in the application of medical nutrition therapy principles when appropriate. Make appropriate referrals to other members of the health care team to optimize outpatient care and follow‑up. Function as an advocate for nutrition care for the acutely ill adult and pediatric hospitalized patient; a consultant to medical staff; a nutrition consultant in the community when contracted or requested across the continuum of care; and as a preceptor to students and interns interested in the field of nutrition and dietetics. Pay Range: $33.63 - $52.22. The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
